Providing full AV solutions for this unusual recruitment event held in the style of a festival.
Being a spoken word event, with 30 speakers across three stages, and 800 delegates attending, privacy and audibility were the focus of the sound systems.
There was also a large visual component, with a Stumpfl Monoblox 2.4 x 1.8m projection screen coupled with a Optoma HD Projector, whilst the second room was serviced with two Panasonic 75” Plasma screens. A third area featured Stumpfl Monoblox 18m x 1.3m screen with an Optoma short throw DLP projector.
To prevent external eavesdropping, we used our go-to digital RF system, the Shure ULXD. The digital nature of it precludes any possibility of outsiders listening in, thanks to 256 bit encryption, and this is the system we use on every corporate event we do. We respect that most corporate events will contain sensitive content and make sure what’s said in the room stays in the room.
The ULXD is also incredibly convenient to use as it allows us to link into our the Dante network of our mixing systems very simply with a single CAT-5.
Along with the Shure MX153 headworn mics, audibility was assured.
PA supplied was the Coda Audio ViRay system along with the Coda Linus proprietary amplifiers, matched with Allen&Heath DLive consoles in both rooms. Together with the Shure RF system we delivered an event that was spot on from the audio side.
